Melanie Hazelwood, PMHNP-BC Melanie Hazelwood is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Grand Canyon University and completed her Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Psychiatric Mental Health at Chamberlain University. Melanie is certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center and is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care to adults. She has been working in healthcare for over 16 years. Prior to becoming a PMHNP, Melanie gained valuable experience working in community mental health, serving individuals with diverse psychiatric conditions and psychosocial needs. She is passionate about creating a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where patients feel heard and respected. Melanie believes in partnering with her patients to develop individualized treatment plans that promote healing, resilience, and overall well-being. She provides comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and ongoing mental health treatment, helping patients achieve their personal mental health goals and improve their quality of life. |
