Dr. Brandi K. Boan, PSYD Dr. Boan has more than a decade of experience as a neuropsychologist. She completed her education at Adler University, her neuropsychology training at Rush University, internship at Elgin State Hospital, and her post-doctorate training at a variety of clinics and hospitals. She has additional training in clinical psychopharmacology and completed her residency through Amita Health System Hospitals. Dr. Boan is an active member of the American Psychological Association, the Illinois Psychological Association, the Illinois Association of Prescribing Psychologists, and the American Academy of Clinical Neuropsychology. Dr. Boan has authored several articles about healthcare, as well as given presentations and lectures related to brain injury and concussions. She has also spoken about the importance of outreach and health services in rural areas. She has been recognized as a leader for psychology and for being one of the first prescribing psychologists in the state of Illinois.
